sour jellybeans

National high five day!! *Internet high five*

Only 4 more teaching days left.  I'm excited to be done and a little bit sad at the same time.  I really do enjoy teaching. I really do. I love the feeling of thinking "BAM. I taught you this and now you understand!"... or at least I hope you understand. Plus, I love Math.

Still don't have employment set up for the summer.  I know that I've got some part time work set up...but I think/know I need more then that. Thus, I'm stuck.  I should be panicking, but I'm not.  Obla di obla da.

Ps I had no idea panicking was spelled as it is.. thank you Google.

Foooooour

The masters is on this weekend.  I am pretty excited to watch them.  Normally, I am not a big golf fan.  The one time I tried to play 18 holes, I got bored after 5 and skipped to the back 9, walked a few holes and played the last one. But watching it is a completely different story.
Now, I know many people will read this (and by many I mean the 4 people that read this), and think that the reason that I am watching this year is to do with Tiger Woods and his scandalous actions.  To be honest, yes I like watching Tiger Woods.  But this was before his scandal.  I just think he's a good player and his celebrity (before the scandal) is interesting. So yes, I was interested to see how he played but not because of the fact that he back from a sex addiction and because he's cheated repeatedly on his wife.  But because I want to see how he plays after the 5 months leave from the game he's had.
Yes, he did terrible things.  No, he's not really someone to look up to. But you can't take away from him that he is a good golfer.
And the stories coming from this year's tournament.  There's the amazing back to back bogeys eagles (thanks L) that Phil Mickelson made this afternoon (one hole he made it from over 100 yards out).  Then the Fred Couples and his happy go lucky appearance including lack of socks.  Oh, and Anthony Kim who L and I have dubbed mini-Tiger.  Oh, and I throughly enjoy when people hit it into the crowd. So fun.
Anyways. Enough about golf. I must go watch some more now.

*Edit: I do know the difference between a bogey and an eagle. Really I do.

to tired to attempt to be clever

School is busy. Being a student teacher is fun because I get to teach. Which is what I want to do forever and a day.  It's tiring though.  Everything is new.  I keep learning different things everyday.  Plus, things don't work right for me all the time. Example: printers. Feck. It's quite annoying.

I could rant about quite a few things that have been going on lately. However. I am too tired.

The end for now.

you don't get a star

Curling started today!!! I love the Olympics. So many opportunities to watch sports. That's cool I guess. However. CTV’s reporting of the sports is not enjoyable.
I found it really hard to actually find sports to watch over the weekend. And while I think it’s great that they want to have pretty much 100% coverage all day every day for the 17 days; I don’t know if that is really necessary. Take 7:00 in the morning, when in BC it is 3:00am in BC. Do I really need to see the results of the last night’s party? Or is it necessary for me to hear about what celebrity ate where in BC the day before??? If they were talking about sports, and showing some recaps and replays of events, that would be fine. But come on. Like really CTV. Like really.

I made pancakes today. From a internet recipe. They were so so fluffy and yummy!! Using internet recipes sometimes unnerves me. You never know really. It could taste terrible. It is the internet after all. But indeed there was success.

Gah. So full. So full of food.
In other news, all of the maple leaf cookies I made are gone. Hmmm. Wonder who ate them all?

bust the windows out your car

I bought Glee Season One, Volume One.  Watching it now. Love it.

The Olympics started yesterday, which means that the heaps of work I have to do, probably won't get done.  Well, it will get done.

Tried to check out the JackFrost activites this afternoon down on the waterfront.  You had to pay to get in, which put a stop to that plan. Oh well. We did get to see the GIANT mountain of snow! Yay snow.  And then this evening [at 7 o'clock], there was a fireworks display.  We just happened to be on way out and could see them in the distance.  Fireworks are happy.  I think there should be fireworks displays once a month. FUN!

Also. I want to wear teacher clothes like Emma Pilsbury  from Glee.

note to self:

Nail polish remover should NOT be used as eye makeup remover.
